Amil is a 2nd year Chemistry PhD student in the Tomson Group. His research is focused on designing biomimetic first-row transition metal complexes to understand their reactivity with oxygen and use for oxidations. Amil served as the Chemistry Department SASGov representative as a first-year student and is currently serving as the VP of Communications. In his free time, Amil likes to read sci-fi, photograph nature, and try baking new recipes.
