Anna Luurtsema is a third year PhD student in the Department of Anthropology. She is an archaeologist studying how perceptions of heritage and place have been constructed in the city of Holland, Michigan. She is also interested in historical cuisine, recipes, and farmsteads. This is Anna's second year as the VP of Communications; she previously served as the Anthropology representative in SASGov. In her free time, she loves baking, knitting, and going for long walks on the Schuylkill River trail.
