Ratul Das
Vice President, Policy
Ratul Das is a second year PhD student at the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences. He is interested in problems concerning the microstructural physics of ice, and exploring how that affects the macroscopic behaviour of ice in glaciers and ice sheets. This is Ratul's first year serving as the VP of Policy; he was the former representative of Earth and Environmental Sciences for SASGov.
When he is not busy with experiments at the lab, he enjoys spending his time playing his electric bass, attending concerts and stand-up comedy shows, painting, cooking, hanging out with his friends, or getting busy making new friends.
